Marlon Maclean was born in Australia and is an eighteen year old resident of Florianópolis (Brazil), where he lives with his artist-photographer mother and two brothers. Born with Down Syndrome, Marlon has always shown an interest in the arts and has been enriched by the experience of observing his mother as she participates in varied art forms – from the environmental activist movement to art and photography exhibitions.
